Sorry to hear about Butch. I saw him each tuesday at Synthomer. He would talk about his family, friends and fishing. My son Mark would go fishing with Butch from time to time. He always brightened my morning. May the Lord wrap you in His love grace and mercy during this time. Francis Blackwood. Spartanburg

Butch will be missed for sure. You couldn't help but smile when he talked with you. He had so many stories and was just a fun guy. I like to say he was a character but in a good way. His love for his family though was at the top of the list of stories as he couldn't help but talk about his wife, kids and grandchildren. Butch will be missed for sure but his smile and personality have affected many for the good.

I worked with Butch at Synthomer. It was hard this morning knowing I would not see that smiling face and hear that bright "good morning". I've enjoyed the times when he would tell me about his much loved family. May you remember the good times you had with him, and remember him with love and laughter.
Thinking and praying for you his family and friends.

Butch was one in a million. Always a ball full of Joy,Smiling, kidding around. It was hard to get him serious, lol. However, if you ever made him mad, well I will just say, Thank God!, I never made him mad.
I enjoyed his company, we shared great times together. Out playing golf, talking about our bowling games. We worked together at EDC is where we became the best of friends. Him his wife Cathy would go out to eat and share good times.
He truly was a family man. He cared deeply for his family and friends. Always helping someone no matter what the need. A genuine friend that's very hard to find in the world today. I will truly miss his loving soul. But I'm blessed to know hes gained his Heavenly wings cause he was saved by the grace of Jesus Christ. Knowing this I can mourn with grief but know that I'm blessed as well to be happy n content that we will meet again in another time and place. So Butch, save me a seat dear pal, on that white fluffy cloud cause we share a cup of coffee n catch up when our time comes around again Pal. I love you always.
At this time may God bless your family you leave behind. Lean upon the father as he comforts, strengthens and give you peace and understanding. Always in my thoughts and prayers, Wilborn family, God bless you each.
